Fulflex Flexographic Laserflex® Flat Plates
Fulflex's Laserflex ® flat plates are imaged by direct laser ablation in a one-step process. Unlike photopolymer plates, they require no exposure, chemical processing or special handling. The direct laser imaging process engraves away excess material down to the floor but does not modify the print surface. Fulflex's Laserflex ® material offers the finest in process engraving and print with excellent tonal range through 175 line screen. Combine this with wear resistance, reduced press gain, excellent ink transfer and the ability to hold the finest positive/reverse graphics detail and you have the finest CTP flexographic plate available today. Fulflex Laserflex ® Construction
The material and construction of Laserflex® make it one of the most durable plate materials available. Being kink and tear resistant, it stands up well to rough handling in the pressroom, allowing plates to be demounted and re-used many times. Laserflex® has a high abrasion resistance, making it suitable for long run lengths. Because of its precisely controlled caliper, lower impression pressures may be used, extending plate life even further.
